Unlocking the Power of Simulation - Coach for Competency

Simulation Workshop | April 8, 2026

Description

Looking to design engaging experiential learning opportunities? This full-day workshop is designed specifically for simulation educators, course coordinators, clinical instructors, and classroom faculty. You'll discover how to create purposeful experiences that develop and assess nursing competencies through experiential learning and simulation across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.

You'll dive into evidence-based strategies for prebriefing, debriefing, coaching, and giving feedback during interactive sessions, where you’ll also learn to distinguish between formative and summative assessment approaches, setting the stage for impactful, competency-based learning in a variety of educational environments.

Don’t miss this opportunity to unlock the power of simulation and enhance your ability to coach, debrief, and design learning experiences that empower students to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

This workshop is a repeat offering of the simulation workshop held prior to Transform 2024 in New Orleans and in Albuquerque, NM in April 2025.
